Note Cards/Materials:-
We are currently producing short-run prints of our notecards and our printing is handled by Snapfish @ HP. It is our understanding that they use standard photographic paper. We would ideally like to print our cards using recycled or sustainable materials, recognised by FSC or equivalent. We're still researching these options for short-run printing.

MERMAID LANTERNS (recycled materials)

We made a few of these for our recent Acoustic Wave Cafe events - simple, fun & recycled!

Here's the story of our Mermaid Lanterns, from the 'sea horse's' mouth...

Hello coast-lover,

Sometimes, old glass jars are thrown into the sea where they might eventually become pretty sea glass. Mermaids have other uses for them too...they turn them into little storm lanterns to light the coastal path for weary travellers on dark winter nights. Also, if you're feeling lost or 'all at sea', light your candle and send out a wish to the mermaids. They will swim into your dreams and light the way forward! Sadly, mermaids have no use for some of the other rubbish that ends up in the sea - especially plastic! So please reduce, reuse and recycle!!

Best fishes,

Mari the Mermaid

PS. If you're beach combing, please don't take shells from below the strandline - sea creatures might still be living inside x :)
